About this adventure
The Wimberley Civic Club's sixth annual Breakfast with Santa is a cozy small-town holiday morning on Saturday, December 12, from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at Texan Academy. Families sit down to a pancake and sausage breakfast with warm wassail, then kids make two holiday crafts, have their photo taken with Santa, and take home a free book. It suits toddlers through early elementary especially well, since the morning is structured but relaxed and there is plenty to do between bites. Tickets are cheaper online, where sales open in early November, at $5 for kids and $8 for adults; at the door they cost $8 for kids and $10 for adults. Proceeds fund scholarships for Wimberley High School seniors and support nonprofits across the Wimberley Valley, so the morning doubles as a community fundraiser.
