Severna Park Library reads Ezra Jack Keats' Caldecott-winning picture book 'The Snowy Day' and talks about how the illustrations were made. Participants then use construction paper and colored pencils to create their own collage-style art in the manner of the book. The library describes it as a process art program: the focus is on playing with the illustrator's tools and techniques, not on producing a set finished product, so it works for toddlers through adults. The one-hour Saturday afternoon session is held in the community meeting room and is open to all ages without registration according to the feed.
