About this adventure

A one-hour guided candlelit tour of the William Paca House, the Georgian mansion on Prince George Street, built around how holiday customs have changed over time. Guides explain how families in Annapolis and Maryland celebrated the season in generations past and how the Paca household prepared to welcome friends and guests, room by room in the glow of candlelight. The tour ends with a sweet treat and a take-home recipe so children can help recreate a taste of the past at home. Historic Annapolis pitches it to families and friends; at about an hour it works best for children who can follow a guided walk, and the house has several flights of stairs. Tours run at 11 am and 4 pm on nine dates, mostly Fridays and Saturdays, from Thanksgiving weekend through December 26, including Monday, December 21 during winter break.
