Family Day at the Walters is an afternoon of free activities for families to gather, explore and create. The December theme is how animals stay cozy in winter, whether they fly south or grow a winter coat, with inspiration from animal friends in the museum's collection. Children are invited to bring a beloved stuffed animal from home. Self-guided gallery games and art activities are available all day. Accessibility resources such as headphones, sensory supplies and Spanish-language printed materials are available. The museum asks families to RSVP.
