Most Fridays, Irvine Nature Center in Owings Mills offers a free caregiver-and-child story time with an animal encounter, held in its Outdoor Classroom (indoors in bad weather). Early childhood educator Rebecca Sparks leads the 45-minute session, which is ideal for children 5 and under with an accompanying adult. No registration is required. Families are encouraged to arrive early or stay afterward to explore Irvine's trails, meadows and wetlands, and Fridays are also Free Fridays at Irvine, when trail and campus admission is free. The program is skipped on some Fridays (Oct 23, Nov 27 and Dec 25, 2026 are listed as 'No Tales & Tails'). Dress for the outdoors.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
Time conflict: description text says 'Fridays 10:00 – 10:45AM' but the event calendar and JSON-LD give 11:00–11:45 AM for each 2026 date. Recorded the calendar time; confirm with Irvine.
