Story Time Chess brings chess to life through storytelling, turning each chess piece into a memorable character so young children can learn the rules through stories. Kindergarten through second grade students build critical thinking, problem-solving, resilience and confidence while learning to play. The one-hour class meets Tuesdays at 5 pm at the Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC; a separate section for grades 3–5 meets Wednesdays. The non-member price is $240 for the session; register through the JCC.
