About this adventure

Adventure Day is Columbia Association's answer to a weekday without school: children in kindergarten through sixth grade spend the day in CA's KidSpace program at Columbia Athletic Club, and families do not need a CA membership to sign up. The day mixes games, arts and crafts, swimming and plenty of active play, and a pizza lunch is part of the fee. This season the club runs it on six school-free weekdays between early November and the end of December, including the Wednesday and Friday of Thanksgiving week and three days of the winter break. Parents choose a full day from 9 am to 6 pm or a half day, either 9 am–1 pm or 1–6 pm, and can add early care from 7 to 9 am. Registration is per date: online sign-up closes 48 hours ahead, after which families can still call the club or ask at a KidSpace desk while places remain, and cancellations are accepted up to 24 hours before.
