Every Thursday at 10:30 am from January through October, the National Museum of Railroad History & Innovation (the B&O Railroad Museum) runs Toddler Time: a sing-along followed by a train-themed story and a craft. The program is built around sensory exploration for toddlers, helping them develop motor skills; during circle time children follow an engaging story, learn the Toddler Time song and dance, and play train games. A recent session paired the picture book 'Trains Run!' with making a paper train whistle from recycled materials. Toddler Time is included with museum admission and free for museum members; the event page links to a workshop registration. Note the program pauses in November and December and resumes in January.
