Northwood's children's area hosts a special evening storytime to celebrate winter, scheduled for 6 pm so working families can come together after dinner. The calendar tags the program for babies and toddlers (birth–2), preschoolers (3–5) and early elementary children (6–8), so it is designed as a whole-family storytime rather than one aimed at a single age. Expect seasonal picture books and group participation in a relaxed one-hour session. It takes place the week school lets out for winter break, making it an easy, free-feeling outing; the listing does not mention registration or fees, so check with the branch if bringing a large group.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
Date, time, branch and audience tags from the Pratt Localist calendar (event_instances, 2026). The calendar lists no fee; library programs are usually free but no fee statement is printed, so costType is unknown. Listing text is brief (one line); the program content beyond storytime is not described.
