The fifth annual holiday lighting of the ship at Martin's Park on the Smith Family Waterfront in the Seaport/Fort Point, hosted by the Friends of Martin's Park and the Boston Parks and Recreation Department. The ship, beach fencing and pedestrian bridge are lit with over 1,500 feet of blue and white tube lights. The City page lists Santa arriving by boat with the Boston Police Harbor Unit at the Harborwalk, holiday music by Berklee artists, holiday beverages from Hood and Caffe Nero, the Boston Park Rangers Mounted Unit, the Boston Fire Department Touch Truck and holiday arts and crafts led by a local artist. Described as a special children's celebration. Free.
