A weekly farm-fresh story hour for little ones at Appleton Farms, one of the oldest continuously operating farms in the country. The morning opens with coloring and a story or two at the white farmhouse, then the group walks up to the Carriage Barn to visit Nubian goats, Angora rabbits and whichever other animals are out, sometimes helping with pint-sized chores. Everyone heads back to the farmhouse for one last story and a chat about favorite animals. Appropriate for infants to age 6; children under 2 are free. The animals live outside year round, so dress for the weather. Tickets are required for adults and children.
