Families make a mason-jar lantern in the heated barn at Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary while naturalists explain the science of the solstice, then take a candlelit evening walk on the sanctuary trails watching and listening for winter wildlife. Meet in the Barn. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. Instructors: Morgan Davidson (Education Coordinator) and Daniel Holbrook (Teacher Naturalist).
