Fiesta Shows' South Shore drive-through light show turns more than a mile of roadway at the Marshfield Fairgrounds into a display of over a million LED lights, with a 300-foot multi-colored light tunnel and animated scenes. Everyone stays in the vehicle for the whole route, which makes it an easy outing with infants and young children on a cold night; photos are fine from inside the car. Entry is sold per carload in one-hour windows (5, 6, 7 and 8 pm sessions, last admission 8:15 pm). The season opens Thanksgiving weekend, runs Wednesday to Sunday in early December and then nightly from December 14 to December 30, including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Cars enter through the fairgrounds gate on South River Street (Gate E), not the Main Street address. Online tickets are cheaper than gate prices and the organizer recommends buying ahead, since sessions that sell out online are not sold at the gate. All sales are final, though dates and times can be swapped. Displays may contain flashing lights.
