Plymouth's Downtown Waterfront District keeps downtown glowing for the whole month of December with Light the Night, a lighting installation that turns storefronts, streetlamps and the waterfront into a setting for evening strolls and family photos through New Year's Eve. The See Plymouth calendar places it at Brewster Gardens on Water Street, with the lights listed nightly from 4:30 pm. It is a simple, no-ticket way to see holiday lights by the harbor after dark, and it starts the same weekend as the district's Holiday Stroll, when downtown shops stay open late, carolers walk the streets and the harbor is lined with luminaria.
