About this adventure

Danvers' downtown Christmas Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 5 includes a sensory area hosted by the Danvers SEPAC at the corner of Maple and Cherry Streets, listed on the event page under Accessibility. The free celebration, presented by Danvers FalconFest and the Town of Danvers, begins at 4 pm on Maple Street with a DJ playing festive music, carolers and holiday characters, plus free face painting, a reindeer food making station and a card making station for children; an Elf Toss carnival game is available for purchase. At 5:15 pm a holiday parade rolls through downtown, leading Santa in on a fire truck, and at 5:45 pm Santa lights the tree. The event page does not describe what the sensory area offers or its hours beyond its location, so families who need details can ask Danvers FalconFest at info@danversfalconfest.org.
