About this adventure

Just ahead of the longest night of the year, Medford Public Library's youth services team leads a craft session where children turn an empty 2-liter bottle into a fun, decorative lantern. The library provides all of the supplies, and kids go home with their finished lantern as a winter solstice or holiday decoration. The program is meant for children ages 5 and up and runs for an hour right after school on a Friday afternoon in the Youth Services Programming Room. Registration is required, so sign up ahead if your child wants a spot; questions go to the youth services librarian named on the event page.
