Medford Public Library's monthly adaptive social program for young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ages 11 to 22, takes a holiday turn in December: participants decorate gingerbread cookies while listening to music in Bonsignore Hall. The evening is designed as a relaxed, supported social time, and the library invites caregivers to share any information that will help staff provide accommodations so each participant has a fun and rewarding experience. The program runs from 6 to 7:30pm. Sign-up is required; registration opens November 1 at 9am. Medford's attendance policy applies: cancel at least 24 hours ahead if you cannot come, and arrivals more than 10 minutes late may lose their spot.
