Grab muck boots and farm together as a family at Appleton Farms. In this hands-on hour, kids and adults help care for the rabbits, goats, cows, chickens and ducks by mucking and bedding stalls, feeding animals, collecting and washing eggs, scrubbing buckets, filling hay feeders and tending garden beds. No two sessions are the same, since tasks depend on the farm's needs, the weather and the animals' moods. Best suited for children ages 3 and up with their adults, especially kids who do not mind getting muddy. Wear closed-toe shoes and layers; sessions run rain or shine and meet at the Carriage Barn across the stone paddock.
