About this adventure

Ski Bradford in Haverhill runs Little-B, a first ski program for complete beginners ages 4 and 5, as four 45-minute lessons spread over four weeks. Classes are capped at four children per instructor at Level 1, and each lesson day includes use of the learning area, which is the only terrain the program uses. Families pick a slot that fits their week: weekend classes meet Saturday or Sunday at 10 am or 1 pm and start the weekend of January 2 (a second round starts February 6), while weekday classes at 1 pm and weeknight classes at 6:30 pm start the weeks of January 4 and February 1. Rental skis and boots can be added for the four weeks, and the ski area asks renters to get fitted before the first lesson. Little-B can be taken only once; after it, children move on to the Junior Level 2 programs, which run as four 1-hour lessons with a learning-area lift ticket. Lessons rescheduled for weather continue until all four sessions are held.
