ChristmasVille weekend in Old Town Rock Hill ends with a closing ceremony on the Fountain Park stage on Sunday, December 6. There is music and a thank-you to the festival's volunteers and sponsors, and the People's Choice winners are announced for the gingerbread house, LEGO build, cardboard ornament and window-decorating contests, a highlight for children who entered or voted. The festival then gives Santa a send-off. This year it starts earlier, at 4 p.m., leaving time to grab dinner from the food trucks beforehand.
