About this adventure
A Halloween edition of the Anne Springs Close Greenway's monthly Family Farm Day at the Crandall Bowles Children's Farm, run with the Greenway Stables. On top of the regular Family Farm Day activities, children are encouraged to come in costume and collect candy as they walk through the Children's Farm. Family Farm Days give visitors more hands-on time with the farm animals: alpacas, horses, cattle, goats, chickens, ducks and pigs, with animal interactions, photo chances and lawn games. Snacks are sold by on-site vendors and feed buckets can be bought at the welcome kiosk. The farm day activities run from 9 a.m. to noon; some activities pause for 15-minute breaks so the animals can rest, and the Children's Farm stays open until 3 p.m. for self-guided visits.
