About this adventure
An outdoor holiday ice rink inside TD Amp Ballantyne at The Bowl, Ballantyne's dining and retail district in south Charlotte. Admission is $20 per person and $15 for children 5 and under, with skate rental included ($18 if you bring your own skates); skate helpers are free while supplies last, and military and first responder discounts are offered in person with ID. Every skater must complete a digital waiver before buying tickets. Regular hours are Monday–Thursday 4–9 p.m., Friday 4–10 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m.–10 p.m. and Sunday noon–9 p.m., with longer hours over Thanksgiving break (Nov 25–27) and winter break (Dec 20–Jan 2), Christmas Eve noon–6 and Christmas Day 3–10 p.m. The rink also collects donations for Ballantyne Families Helping Neighbors in Need.
