About this adventure
An after-dark visit to the Raptor Trail at the Carolina Raptor Center in Huntersville, built around owls. Each Owl Prowl opens with a program and a close look at one of the center's resident owl ambassadors, then a guided walk around the trail with evening-only activities, and ends with s'mores on the way out. The center pitches it to families with children 10 and up and to adults; attendees must be at least 10 years old. If it rains, that evening's prowl moves to the following night. Tickets are $30 per person ($25 for members) and are sold in advance online; a separate February 4 prowl is for members only.
