About this adventure

A free monthly storytime for young children and their caregivers at the Gaston County Museum in Dallas, run with the Dallas Branch Library since 2025. Each session mixes picture-book reading with music, dancing and a hands-on craft, led by museum staff together with the Dallas library team, and is aimed at preschoolers and early learners. It takes place on the first Wednesday of each month at 10:30 a.m. inside the museum on the historic Dallas town square, and no reservation is needed — families simply arrive with their little ones. The upcoming sessions on the museum calendar are November 4 and December 2, 2026. Afterwards families can look around the museum's art and history galleries.
