About this adventure
Kassidy Plyler, a Cultural Public Programs Specialist and a member of the Catawba Nation, shares the role the Catawba Nation played in the American Revolution in an hour-long program the state lists under its America 250 theme, at the President James K. Polk State Historic Site in Pineville. The program is listed for all ages and the general public; there is no cost, and donations are appreciated. It is a talk rather than a hands-on activity, scheduled from 11 a.m. to noon on a Saturday in the site's fall lineup of programs.
