Plainfield Park District's annual Noon Year's Eve lets kids ring in 2027 early on Thursday, December 31, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Prairie Activity & Recreation Center. The family countdown includes music, games, crafts, inflatables and snacks, ending with a giant balloon drop at noon. For ages 3–12; $18 for residents, $23 for non-residents. Registration is required, and the late-morning timing lets families celebrate together and still be home for the afternoon.
