At the sixth annual Turkey Shoot Free Throw Contest each participant shoots 15 free throws, competing within an age division at the Techny Prairie Activity Center on Friday, November 20. First place in every age division wins a turkey and second place takes home a pie, and there are extra basketball-themed skill activities during the evening. Event hours are 6 to 9 pm, but each age group gets an official arrival time closer to the date. Fees range from $9 to $14 and registration is online. A fun pre-Thanksgiving challenge for kids who play basketball.
