About this adventure

Cincinnati's German-American Christkindlmarkt returns to the Schmidlapp Event Lawn and Stage in Smale Riverfront Park, beside the Cincinnati Lager House at The Banks. The all-ages holiday market has free admission and mixes European-style vendor booths for food, drinks and gifts with holiday lights, choirs and live music on the stage, themed character visits, a children's craft and character tent, an outdoor ice-rink trail and a boardwalk of rentable heated igloos. It is open Thursday and Friday evenings and Saturday and Sunday afternoons into the evening from the weekend before Thanksgiving until December 28, with extra afternoon hours on the days just before Christmas; it is closed Monday through Wednesday otherwise and on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Parking is in the Central Riverfront Garage on Mehring Way, and the streetcar stops on Second Street.
