Tickets are sold online through the park's Roller checkout; no ticket prices are printed on the official pages. Santa photos are run by a third-party photographer whose prices vary through the season. From December 26 to 30 only the drive-thru operates (no village, petting zoo or Santa's Workshop).

About this adventure

Land of Illusion in Middletown turns its grounds into Southwest Ohio's largest Christmas lights drive-thru each winter. Families stay in the car for a two-mile route through more than 3.8 million lights arranged in eight themed lands (Gingerbread Land is one, with giant gingerbread men and candy canes), with carols playing as you roll along. Parking leads into a walk-around Christmas Village with gas fire pits, music, cocoa, costumed characters and a 45-foot Christmas tree. The Polar Petting Zoo lets children meet Highland cows and other calm barnyard animals. In Santa's Workshop kids chat with Santa, write a letter and drop it in his mailbox, make a keepsake at the arts and crafts station and leave with a sweet treat; photos with Santa are taken by an outside photographer. During the last week (December 26–30) only the drive-thru is open.
