On three Sundays this fall and winter, the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center on Cincinnati's riverfront opens its doors free of charge, thanks to the Fifth Third Foundation. Families can explore the museum (10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on November 8), including its permanent exhibits such as ESCAPE! Freedom Seekers and the Underground Railroad and From Slavery to Freedom. The museum says community partners will add special programming on these days, with details still to be announced. Admission is free, but visitors are asked to reserve their free museum admission through the Freedom Center's online ticketing in advance. Remaining dates are November 8, December 6 and December 20.
