About this adventure

A free Saturday workshop at Baker Hunt in Covington for high school artists getting ready to apply to art programs and colleges. Instructors cover how to assemble a strong portfolio: how many pieces to include, whether the work should be a cohesive themed body or a range, whether to show sketches and sketchbook pages, and how to photograph three-dimensional work. The session also walks through the wider application process and how to tailor a portfolio for each school, followed by a question-and-answer period. Students may bring their own portfolio for individual feedback. Seniors are the main audience, but younger teens who want to plan ahead are welcome too.
