About this adventure
The children's race of Cincinnati's Western & Southern Thanksgiving Day Race opens the morning: a quarter-mile dash from the main start line in front of TQL Stadium, before the 10K and 5K start. Every child who runs receives a race t-shirt and a medal. Strollers are allowed (families pushing them are asked to start near the back), only service animals may be on the course, and there are no refunds. Registration is through Race Roster, and the fee rises in steps the closer it gets to race day, with race-day sign-up the most expensive. Grown-ups who want to run too can enter the TDR 5K, which the organizers describe as open to runners and walkers of every age.
