About this adventure

Cleveland Botanical Garden in University Circle pairs outdoor display gardens with two tropical glasshouses (Costa Rica and Madagascar) that stay warm all winter. For families the highlight is the Hershey Children's Garden, opened in 1999 as one of the first children's gardens in the country: kids climb up to a treehouse overlooking the beds, look for frogs and other pond life (nets are handed out at set pond-dipping times), watch a live honeybee hive and hide among big, buzzing wildflower patches. The glasshouses add sensory play areas. Ask about the Museums for All $1 rate and the military discount. The on-site garage charges by the hour after the first 30 free minutes, and the free CircleLink shuttle stops by the Garden.
