About this adventure

Families tour the candlelit Benjamin Bacon House, where Brownhelm Historical Association members portray 1860s residents, then visit reenactors at a campfire, take one horse-drawn carriage ride through Mill Hollow, and roast treats at outdoor firepits while supplies last. The Carriage Barn has a 14-foot tree, live music, and a fireplace. Friends of Metro Parks sell light refreshments there for cash only. The fee covers one carriage ride and one 12-minute house tour. Tours hold 12 people, and every person in the group must be pre-registered. There are no walk-ins. Check-in is at the Carriage Barn lobby, where the carriage ticket is handed out. Outside activities are weather-dependent.
