About this adventure
The International Women's Air & Space Museum inside Burke Lakefront Airport collects and displays the history of women in aviation and space, from early pilots to astronauts, through artifacts, photographs, textiles, artwork and papers. Its exhibits in the terminal are open seven days a week, which makes it an easy free add-on to a lakefront day near the Science Center and Rock Hall. Guided tours are available for a small fee by appointment on weekdays, and the website's Kids' Korner has activities to try at home. It closes for major holidays and Browns home games.
