About this adventure

Geauga Park District's open-house solstice night at The West Woods mixes indoor and outdoor stations in the Oak Room and along a candlelit forest path. Visitors make a solstice-themed craft, hear music, drink hot beverages and eat treats, then walk the self-guided Solstice Traditions Trail, where costumed interpreters perform short skits about how different civilizations marked the longest night. Much of the program is outside, so the district asks families to dress for the weather and leave dogs at home. Shuttles run from the parking area and no registration is needed.
