About this adventure

During Thanksgiving week the Aladdin Shrine Center in Grove City fills with sponsored Christmas trees that are already decorated and loaded with gifts. Visitors can walk the display, visit Santa for free pictures, and decorate an ornament at the kids' station. Food and musical performances run through the open days, including the Grove City High School Choir, a children's chorus, and the shrine's own bands. Anyone attending can buy raffle tickets, ten for $5, and drop them at the trees they want. Specialty raffles for a cash tree, a lottery-ticket tree, and a gift-card tree are $5 per entry. Drawings for the trees happen after closing on the last public day, on the event's Facebook page. Winners pick up trees on Sunday, November 29, from 1 to 4 p.m. A sponsor-only evening on Friday, November 20, is not open to the public. The building is closed on Thanksgiving Day.
