Franklin Park Conservatory's evening holiday light experience fills the outdoor gardens and indoor biomes with lights. New this year are a whimsical Whirly Tree by Tork Inc., a life-sized Candyland board game and a winter wonderland dance party, joining returning favorites: festive igloos, games from cornhole to curling, a 100-foot light tunnel, the Through the Vines seasonal installation and the lit-up Paul Busse Garden Railway with its model trains. On select nights The Amazing Giants roam outdoors with stilt walkers and roller-skating snowflakes, and musicians perform indoors. Hours are 5-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 5-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday; the Conservatory closes at 4 p.m. to prepare. It requires a Special Engagement ticket, and reservations open October 26 at 11 a.m. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and December 2-3.
