Families design their own fused-glass art from small pieces of colored glass at The Works' open studio sessions. Pieces are fired in the kiln, cooled slowly and ready for pickup the following week. The featured project of the month is a holiday ornament in November and a gingerbread house in December. Prices: small $25, medium $30, large $35 and the project of the month $35 (members $10 less). Registration is recommended. Sessions are held on select Saturdays, such as October 17 from noon to 3 p.m.
