Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks

A working 1880s Ohio farm inside Slate Run Metro Park. Costumed staff and volunteers do daily chores; visitors stroll the gardens, barns and the 1856 gothic revival farmhouse (living room, parlor and kitchen, where meals are cooked on a wood-burning stove). Heirloom animals include pigs, geese, turkeys and Percheron horses. From January to March the grounds and barn stay open but some buildings close and activities are limited.
