Families drive through a holiday light show at the Hartford Fairgrounds without leaving the car. WonderLight Productions sets more than a million LED lights to Christmas music played on 89.9 FM. Tickets are sold in two-hour arrival windows, and the organizer asks guests to buy ahead so the line at the booth stays shorter. A standard car ticket covers up to eight people. Limos and activity vans are priced separately. Buses, RVs, and any vehicle longer than 25 feet are not allowed. Headlights stay off inside the display, and drivers keep moving at about 2 to 5 miles per hour without stopping or getting out. The song set runs about 45 minutes. Pets may come if they stay inside the vehicle. Portable toilets sit at the entrance and the exit. The show is scheduled every night of the run, including holidays, and the page says it stays open in rain, shine, or snow.
