German Village's biggest holiday evening turns the historic neighborhood's brick streets into a winter scene lit by thousands of luminarias. Families stroll between businesses that open their doors with festive cheer while performers bring music and entertainment to the streets. The German Village Society lists it from 4 to 8 p.m.; hours vary for participating businesses, so check the event schedule for specific stops.
