About this adventure

Irving's police officers and firefighters host their 17th annual Blue Christmas Pancake Breakfast, a Saturday-morning fundraiser that pays for food and toys for Irving families in need over the holidays. Firefighters serve the pancakes, Santa Claus visits with children, and there are raffles and a silent auction. It is an easy, early outing for families with young kids, who get to meet first responders as well as Santa, and the ticket money goes straight to a local holiday cause. The breakfast is held in the fellowship space at Plymouth Park Baptist Church in north-central Irving and runs for two and a half hours, so families can come whenever suits them. Tickets are inexpensive, with a reduced price for children 10 and under.
