North Garland Library, 3845 N. Garland Ave., marks Día de los Muertos with a hands-on Family Fiesta on Halloween afternoon, Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Families design and decorate their own sugar-skull piñata, a festive take on the Día de los Muertos tradition, with all supplies provided. Costumes are encouraged and the library promises sweet surprises.
