Midway Church hosts a free, family-friendly Trunk or Treat on Halloween morning, Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 10 a.m. to noon at Dieterich Middle School, 2881 Ledgestone Lane in Midlothian. The church says the event is open to the whole community. In a trunk-or-treat, children in costume walk between decorated car trunks to collect candy; the City of Midlothian calendar entry does not describe any other activities. The morning time slot suits toddlers and families who would rather avoid evening crowds on Halloween night.
