For children who can't stay up until midnight, Coppell's Cozby Library & Community Commons rings in the new year early with a Noon Year's Eve celebration on December 31. The half-hour program from 11:30 am to noon features fun activities and ends with a countdown to noon. The library says it is intended for families with young children and that all ages are welcome, which makes it a good fit for toddlers and preschoolers who are home on winter break. No fee or registration is listed on the city calendar; arrive a little early to settle in before the countdown. Contact the library's programs team at 972-304-3658 or cozbyprograms@coppelltx.gov with questions.
