The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History holds a kid-style New Year celebration on Thursday, December 31, 2026, from 10 a.m. to noon. Children can take photos, do crafts and join special New Year's activities around the museum. Then everyone gathers in the atrium at 12 p.m. for what the museum calls the biggest confetti drop of the year. Noon Year's Eve is included with museum admission, so there's no extra ticket. Arrive early enough to explore the hands-on galleries too. Midday works well for babies, toddlers and preschoolers who won't make it to midnight. The general entrance is the Omni Theater entrance on Lansford Lane. Parking is charged separately.
