The Town of Prosper's free Christmas Festival turns the Town Hall grounds into a winter wonderland for an afternoon and evening in early December. Attractions include an ice-skating rink, Santa's Workshop with free family photos, Kid Zones with holiday-themed inflatables, Santa's Selfie Station, cookie decorating, face painters and balloon artists, and live entertainment on the Community Stage. Families can adopt an ornament handmade by a Prosper ISD elementary art student, browse lighted sponsor and artisan exhibits with giveaways and gifts, and buy food from food trucks. Mayor David Bristol leads the Community Tree Lighting at 7 pm, followed by a Prosper-themed drone show. The festival runs 3 to 7 pm on Saturday, December 5 and is free thanks to sponsors. Questions go to events@prospertx.gov or 469-617-0792.
