About this adventure
Back by popular demand for Halloween week, the Colorado Symphony performs Danny Elfman's score live to a screening of Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas at Boettcher Concert Hall. Jack Skellington's journey from Halloween Town to Christmas Town is a natural bridge between the two holidays, and kids who love the songs get to hear them played by a full orchestra in sync with the film. The Saturday 2 pm Halloween matinee is the most family-friendly slot,. The film is stop-motion with some spooky imagery, so it suits school-age children and older.
