Roxborough State Park is a National Natural Landmark southwest of Littleton known for its dramatic tilted red-rock formations, 11 miles of hiker-only trails (including the family-friendly Fountain Valley loop), abundant wildlife and a visitor center with exhibits. The park is open daily 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the office/visitor center daily 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. A Daily Vehicle Pass is $10-$15 and an Individual Daily Pass is $4. No dogs, bikes or horses are allowed on trails. Volunteer naturalists lead guided bird hikes and other programs listed on the CPW events calendar.
